Both sons of company founder Kurt Münch have this fire in their blood. Far beyond Frankfurt borders, their father and his team already served well-known corporate customers in the 1960s - with absolute reliability and high quality standards. In this tradition, both brothers, Jörg and Konrad Münch, managing partners since 1991, are leading the company into the future. On 1 January 2020, Jörg Münch made the move from an active management role to the role of partner and senior advisor. Here he continues to support the company with his passion and experience.

Constant investments and the latest production techniques, continuous development and the consistent focus onstaging brands in a lively manner have lead from national to international success. Rising expectations of sophisticated global brands have lead to the continuously increasing performance of the group.

  • 2019 Authorised signatory and a second new managing director
    In September 2019, Jennifer Münch, the daughter of Konrad Münch, joins the management team as a second managing director. Long-time project and team leader Dirk Lengsfeld fulfils the role of power of attorney.

  • 2019 New Managing Director
    As of 1 February 2019, Thomas Reuhl stands at the helm, together with the two managing partners Jörg and Konrad Münch.

  • 2017 New Münch+Münch branch in the US
    Münch+Münch opens its first international branch in Atlanta, Georgia. With our new subsidiary M&M SDS Inc. we now also have a presence in the economic powerhouse of the US East Coast.

  • 2017 Expansion
    Münch+Münch opens a new building that expands the production and storage space of the company by 5,000m² to a total of 22,000m². Furthermore, the company invested in 5-axis CNC technology.

  • 2016 Switch to proALPHA ERP software
    Münch+Münch introduces proALPHA software as its main tool for enterprise resource planning. The system is used to manage and automate business processes along the entire value chain, incl. CAD integration, thus further increasing speed and efficiency in project delivery.

  • 2011 LaserTec
    Münch+Münch becomes the first European shopfitter to invest in HOMAG LaserTec.
  • 2010 Reinforcements arrive
    In November, Andreas Mink strengthens the Münch+Münch management team. In addition, the company moves to a new administration building

  • 2009 Swarovski
    Begin of our global strategic partnership with Swarovski. When it comes to value engineering, high-quality interior design and ambitious roll-out schedules, the premium retail chain places its trust in Münch+Münch. Since 2009 we have created flagship stores, boutiques and shop-in-shop systems throughout Europe, the USA, Asia, India and the Middle East for Swarovski and its sub-brands.

  • 2009 Logistics centre
    A new logistics centre with an area of 5,000m².

  • 2008 Postbank
    Postbank branches throughout Germany were transformed by Münch+Münch as part of a major rebrand of the organisation’s public face. Over the course of the following years, some 850 Postbank branches were redesigned into welcoming, service-oriented brand touchpoints.

  • 2008 Loss
    The Münch family and the entire Münch+Münch workforce mourn the passing of “Senior” Kurt Munch. The company founder and father of brothers Jörg and Konrad Munch passes away at age 77.
  • 2006 Further internationalisation
    Global brands such as Hugo Boss und Nespresso are won as clients.
  • 2003 Worldwide rollouts
    Münch+Münch joins the international stage with ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS. Shops in Tokyo, Singapore, Taipei, Taichung und Dubai are fitted by Münch+Münch. The presentation systems designed and produced by Münch+Münch are exported worldwide.
  • 2002 Rebranding o2
    We accompanied VIAG Intercom during their strategic realignment and rebranding to the o2 name.
  • 2000 store in motion
    The Münch+Münch company philosophy finally receives a name. The new claim „shop in motion” is born. At the same time, the corporate design will be redesigned.
  • 1999 T-Mobile
    Münch+Münch develops and implement a new shop-in-shop system for T-Mobile: BasicLine. T-Mobile’s uniform and unmistakable presence with 2,170 shops-in-shop solutions in the German market to date strengthens the brands identify and image.
  • 1991 Founding of the GmbH
    Founding of Münch + Münch GmbH under the managing partners Jörg Münch and Konrad Münch.
  • 1961 Company founding
    The founding of the company with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main by Kurt Münch. Focus points: High-quality interior fitting such as administrative offices and conference rooms for AEG and Mannesmann, presentation rooms and sales floors for Daimler-Benz AG and the ADAC, and nationwide shop and restaurant fitting for Nordsee.
