EXPERIENCE ZALANDO OFF-LINE ++ With its new store in Frankfurt am Main, the online retailer Zalando has opened its second brick-and-mortar outlet in Germany. On a floorspace of over 1000 square metres, designed to evoke an elegant, minimalist loft ambience, it presents some 20,000 items of clothing, shoes and accessories by more than 500 brands. On sale is mainly previous-season and customer return stock.
GENEROUS DIMENSIONS ++35 tonnes of metal and 15 tonnes of timber materials were used in the creation of the new outlet store interior. The components for the countless French-pine shoe shelves were specially made in the high quality required for this project. Working closely with the interior designers 1100 Architekten, Münch+Münch has mastered every logistical and technical challenge of the ambitious project, ensuring its success for everyone involved.
