The Collection Frankfurt, Samsonite’s multibrand store at Frankfurt Airport, unites high-end luggage brands such as TUMI, Samsonite, Samsonite Red, Lipault and several exclusive handbag brands.
AIRPORT EXPERTISE FOR THE LUGGAGE EXPERT ++ As an experienced shopfitter and lead contractor for airport stores, Münch+Münch was perfectly placed to work with Samsonite on its new multibrand store. For the high-footfall airport location, Münch+Münch developed a particularly tough and durable furniture concept as well as coordinating subcontractors and fire safety obligations. Metal frames and plinths create an overarching design theme for the store landscape of “bridges”, multifunctional “stages” on castors, till stands and wall shelves, while also offering protection against wear and tear. The furniture elements are height-adjustable and equipped with removable glass inserts, rendering them extremely flexible for a constantly changing product range – from large suitcases to dainty handbags and sophisticated travel accessories.
