With its new specialist market concept 2.1, Telekom is gradually redesigning its sales and support areas to make them even more attractive. At POS, four screens are linked up to Telekom’s content management system so that all advertising messages can be displayed digitally and in real time.
Meanwhile, modular furniture in a light oak wood effect, complemented by black metal structures and white tabletops, show off Telekom’s products to their best advantage. The Magenta SmartHome module, Magenta TV and display stand in the centre of the space, give customers the ability to test everything on the spot. All features can be demonstrated live, giving customers a comprehensive insight into product benefits. Digital totems and customer service counters round off the attractive appearance at POS. The latter was not only designed and constructed by us, but was also produced and installed by us, along with the remaining furniture. The customer service counters were optimised so that they now offer seating for one advisor and up to two customers. However, most of the development work went into the Magenta SmartHome module: numerous technical components and actuators, such as radiator thermostats and LED lighting elements, needed to be integrated.
The redesign was implemented across several pilot areas at the end of 2018. Roll out across Germany has been taking place this year.
